Attractions & things to do for the kids in your life
Nathalie's tips for a smooth outing
I recommend one adult per age group when visiting an amusement centre
(going with another family can help). Otherwise, older siblings get bored
to tears in the kiddie rides, and young ones have to wait while their older
siblings enjoy big kids rides.

"Last time I dragged by mistake my 12-years old and her friend to an attraction way too young for them, I realized that they didn’t care. They were together in the outside world, commenting on everything, an attraction in itself.
I’ve also noticed that kids tend to forget adults are there when they’re chatting with their friends. You get to see different aspects of their personality not otherwise revealed at home. Which in my books is quite a bonus!”

AMUSEMENT CORNER: Arcades
Arcades offer a very noisy kind of fun, with all the games cramped in a small space, but kids love it so bite the bullet! Best practice in an arcade: allow a pre-determined budget, explain to them how the games work, let go. Those who are the first to run through their money can still enjoy watching the others play. (Please note that we'll be adding family outings to this section until the end of 2012.)
