Attractions & things to do for the kids in your life

Playdium Mississauga (Mississauga)

Family Tested
High energy

Jump-start into adolescence

Playdium is the best looking arcade in and around Toronto. A cold-coloured corridor leads you under an interstellar-like canopy with sculptures hanging from the ceiling and luminous drawings dancing on the floor. Many games are physically fun to ride (the demos themselves often entertaining enough for younger kids): motorcycle, seadoo, surf, cross-country skiing, biking, flight simulator, soccer, basketball, baseball and bowling. In the summer, outdoor activities include mini golf, go-karts and a small midway. Under the adjacent indoor Sports Dome, you'll find bowling lanes, batting cages and a few more games. Many games redeem coupons children love to exchange for trinkets.

After years of doing all kinds of outings with my children, I can assure you the secret to a perfect outing lies in the details, not the destination.
