Downhill from there
Forget the 30-foot-high fountain in the middle of the large pond with bulrushes, the playground with big frog and little climbing wall, or the giant gazebo in use during special events. If you ask my kids, they'll say the park's best feature is the hill by the gazebo. I've often seen them spend a full hour rolling down its grass with their friends (even at the advanced age of 14). From the top of this hill, you can admire Toronto's skyline with its trademark CN Tower. Cyclists like to ride the winding paths of Woodbine Park before reaching Ashbridge’s trails across Lake Shore. The playground’s spray pad is lovely. Kids could spend an afternoon between this and the large spinning web, providing an obliging adult offers to push (beware, it's a full-time job)!
